Junior Project Manager (CA and OH)

Project Managers exhibit a strong skill set in product manufacturing.  They are well organized and coordinate our client’s jobs with the goal of flawless execution. PM’s will run, administer and organize all project activities from project initiation (when the opportunity is formalized by a Sales Representative who requests a job number and creates an initial Project Brief) all the way through project invoice request. This position will report into the Director of Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Coordination of internal resources and third parties towards the flawless execution of projects
  • Document and transmit engineering files as required for OnQ projects to bring to manufacturing
  • Track schedules and budgets
  • Help project managers with Gantt Chart scheduling on other projects.
  • Document project scope, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage project costs, set budget and handle project billings
  • Attend client meetings to confirm project objectives, execution obstacles, in-store variables, and other factors that will impact program success
  • Manage and assist others with the management of client expectations and ensure key timelines are met
  • Manage and assist others with the procurement and tracking of production materials orders
  • Manage and assist others with plans to monitor and track progress
  • Manage and assist others with changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Manage and assist others with measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Review engineering drawing packages slated for production and create engineering drawings for projects
  • Identify, report and escalate project issues/risks to management as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Manage and assist others with maintenance of project documentation
  • Assist with organizing and processing shipping and receiving documentation
  • Work with OnQ CA, OH and third-party warehouses to pack out jobs for shipping and distribution
  • Coordinate with the finance team to assist when needed for PO processing and invoicing
  • Handle the ordering and delivery of office supplies

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 1 year experience with the facilitation of business and projects in a manufacturing company (or equivalent training)
  • Experience with purchasing OEM and custom materials
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and of project management tools

Education:
College degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Scale:
$55,000 -$75,000 per year
