OnQ Recognized by Inc. as One of California’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
OnQ, a leading manufacturer of custom retail displays, today announced that it earned a spot on Inc.’s annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in California, the 2021 Inc. 5000 Regionals: California list.
“To be singled out as one of California’s most successful companies following the crazy year we all endured in 2020 is quite an accomplishment,” said OnQ founder and CEO Paul Chapuis. “I’m so grateful to the entire OnQ team for what we achieved together last year in the face of incredible circumstances, and I’ve never been so excited about the future as I look at what lies ahead in 2021 and beyond.”
While the pandemic’s effects hit the retail display industry particularly hard in 2020, OnQ was one of just a few retail display companies that entered 2021 without having shed a single job due to the pandemic. Not only did OnQ stay fully staffed throughout 2020, but in the past few months the company made some key senior hires to scale its business to meet growing demand.
“2021 is going to be an amazing year of rebirth in the retail world as shoppers resume their normal routines. There’s a huge amount of pent-up demand for rewarding, enjoyable retail experiences, and the retailers preparing to meet that demand are the ones that will win big in 2021 and beyond. We’re fortunate to be working with many of those retailers, so we know first-hand that we’re on the cusp of a retail renaissance, and we can’t wait to see that unfold in the months ahead,” commented OnQ’s chief revenue officer Kevin Delahunty.
The 2021 Inc. 5000 Regional: California list ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2017 and 2019. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2017. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019.
